Given the rapid increases in cases of COVID-19 in Connecticut over the last 14 days due to the spread of the Delta variant, the Connecticut Department of Public Health is strongly recommending that ALL CONNECTICUT residents over aged two years, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated, return to wearing masks when in indoor public spaces. Starting August 3, 2021, everyone entering the food pantry will be required to wear a mask.
We continue to be open during regular hours for grocery pick-up on Tuesday (8:30-11:00AM, 4:30-6:30PM) and Friday (9:00-11:30AM) mornings. All grocery pick-up will be done on a no contact basis. COVID19 safety protocols are in place for our clients and volunteers.
Please call us at 203-481-3663 if you are unable to come to the Branford Food Pantry due to a medical condition. At this time home delivery of groceries is very limited and must be set up in advance. To request delivery of groceries, please speak slowly and clearly, leave your name, address and a phone number where you can be reached. The office will contact you to determine if you are approved for delivery. When groceries are out for delivery, our drivers will attempt to reach you as they approach so you can be ready for them.
Please note that delivery of groceries will be to your outside door ONLY.
