Branford Food Pantry Hotline

Effective Tuesday, March 24, 2020 the Branford Food Pantry Hotline will be operational.   The number is 203-315-8251.

Effective immediately the Branford Food Pantry will no longer be open on Tuesday evenings.

You should use the hotline only to request EMERGENCY grocery deliveries.  We continue to be open during regular hours for grocery pick-up Tuesdays 8:30-11:00 am and Friday 9:00-11:00 am.  All grocery pick-up will be done on a no contact basis. You do not need to bring bags.  They will be provided.

We are taking requests via hotline for emergency grocery delivery within Branford but our ability to deliver food depends on whether or not we have drivers.  You may request food once per week, if necessary.  Delivery is being done on Tuesday and Friday mornings.  We must have your request no later than the day before delivery.  We cannot accommodate same day requests.

If we can make a delivery, we will call you and let you know.  Please note that delivery will be to your outside door ONLY.  Drivers will not come inside for any reason.  If you need help moving your groceries, you will need to find a friend or neighbor to assist you.

To request food, please speak slowly and clearly, leave your name, address and a phone number where you can be reached for confirmation and contact just prior to delivery.  Our drivers will attempt to reach you as they approach so you can be ready for them.
