The Branford Food Pantry will be participating in GivingTuesday on November 28, 2023!
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 28, 2023, and throughout the year.
Did you know more than 30% of our school-age children qualify for free or reduced lunch programs and one in six Branford residents struggles with food insecurity? We need your help to continue to meet the increasing needs of our community.
This year you can help the Branford Food Pantry reach our GivingTuesday goal of 100 donations to help our neighbors in need. Monetary donations made on GivingTuesday will help BFP keep the pantry shelves filled throughout the year! Won’t you help?

GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past eleven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
The 100% volunteer Branford Food Pantry serves an average of 520 families (including seniors and individuals) each month. If you are interested in volunteering at the Branford Food Pantry please visit our Volunteer page.
